Can't go to school in rains, My village has no school, no road, no electricity...
My name is Ramchandar. I am calling from Jampani village in Sonbhadra district in Uttar Pradesh. I am a student of class 11 and want to tell you about my village. We have no road in the village so we can not go to school rainy season. The canal is filled with water. We have no school in village, no electricity or no hospital. 15,000 people are waiting for a connecting road from 10 years!
Bineshwar Naik says villagers in his village and nearby are passing a resolution to build a road to connect their villages to the city from last 10 years but the road never get constructed. He says there are around 15,000 people live here in these 7 villages. The bridge on the road was broken two years ago and the people who need to go to the city for their livelihood and education are facing huge problem during the monsoon. Village does not have electricity,road but students do well...
KM bhai from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh is telling us the story of two students from a village Mohanpur. NREGA: Built road on my land and did not even pay wages
My name is Chitman Baria. My father’s name is Amar Singh Baria. My village is Barla in Ghanas panchayat in Turaikalla block of Bolangir district of Odisha. Last year an NREGA work came to our village and they built a road on my land. They asked to work on that road and said they will give wages. No water, road, power, ration, NREGA wages but Happy Holi
A caller from village Pota, Lakhanpur in District Surguja in Chhattisgarh says Happy Holi to all of us. He says in my village there is no water, no roads, no elctricity. We also have got to ration cards. We have got no payment on NREGA after complaining. We also told about all these to our collector in a public hearing. But nothing happens.
