I found out in NREGA website that a work of road construction was taken up in my village on which Rs 5,62,216 was spent. The website says 852 workers were paid for 4610 mad days between 9/5/11 and 26/1/12. But in reality no work has taken place. Darbu Singh Uike from Balaghat in Madhya Pradesh is alleging that the quality of construction of road between Ramta and Baihar is of poor quality. Out of 50 kms the work is completed in 35 kms but the work is so bad that the road already neds repair.
