Patti Maravi, a villager from that village tells him that there is no electricity in their village for as long as 50 years now. Hand pumps were installed but don’t function. In their Dumatola mohalla about 35 families are forced to live in the dark. Also they fetch water from 1 kilometer distance. Jagdish Yadav is visiting Dalit-Adivasi villages in Rewa district of MP and finds there are tanks, taps, pipelines but no water.Water tanks were built under Nal-Jal Yojna but only to waste people’s money. Nashtgava with 700 population, Sohaval 600, Kanchanpur 1500, Darraha 700, Jirauva 1000, Ambedkar Nagar- Dabhaura 1500 have same story. There are many other villages facing the same problem.
