Forest Dept not allowing road, 2 adivasi pregnant women died in 2 months

Jeetanram Pahadi Korwa from Salkheta village in Gichkalo Panchayat in Dharamjaigarh block of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh says due to obstruction of forest dept road is not getting built in their village. 2 pregnant women died in 2 months because they could not be taken to hospital. School was sanctioned 17 years ago but forest people dont allow to make building. Electricity is not coming for the same region. Pls call officials to help. Jeetanram Ji is at 08224054734

We have problems like road, drinking water but what we need most is toilets

Rajendra Vamankar from Patakheda village in Betul district in Madhya Pradesh is speaking in Gondi language to say that his adivasi village has many problems like road and drinking water but what he needs most is toilets. Govt had promised toilets under Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan but nothing has happened. Impact: Officials promise to start road construction work after Swara report...

Brijesh Singh from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh says I had recorded interview of some Adivasis from Jiwni village in Juda Gram Panchayat who had told that they are requesting for road from few generations now but no one has helped them. I am very glad to share today that officials have promised to start the road work after the model code of conduct is over after election results. Fed up with Govt inaction Pahadi Korwa tribals making their own village road

My name is Sani Ram Pahadi Korwa. I am from Chhuipahar village in Dharamjaigarh block of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. Our village of 50 houses is on top of hill and we dont have road, anganwadi, hand pump, electricity or school. It is very difficult to take our sick to hospital. Village of 50 Adivasi families have no road, Sick needs to be carried on cot...
