Oraon Adivasis practicing dance for Karam festival, Police stopping them...
Deme Oraon from Sundergarh dist, Odisha is telling that today they are practicing their cultural dance during Karam festival in a common place which is their cow grazing field but lots of policemen have arrived saying this land has been bought by non tribals. No leaders will be given entry unless they establish hospital with a doctor...
Rajesh Oraon from Ganeshpur village, Balumath block in Latehar district of Jharkhand says that all the men and women have met recently and have decided not to give entry to any elected represetative or who wants vote in next elections till they get a hospital and a doctor in the village.They need to walk to 15 kms to go to nearest hospital as it is difficult even to walk on the connecting road forget about plying any vehicle. SOS: 18 elephants have surrounded our villages, Forest dept not helping...
Dame Oraon from Sundargarh district in Odisha is calling for help as 10 elephants have entered their area and destroying crops and houses. He says 8 elephants have entered the nearby villages from last 3 days and forest department is doing nothing. He says these are villages near Rourkela town still forest dept is completely inactive. Elephants destroying our houses, crops from 2 weeks, Govt not helping...
Deme Oraon from Kapatmunda panchayat of Bisra Block, Sundergarh dist, odisha is telling that since last 15 days a group of elephants coming to their area and have destroyed houses and paddy fields. Elephants destroyed our houses 3 weeks ago, Forest officers not visited yet
