Raju Rana is visiting Salaiyatand village in Semaria block of Chatra district in Jharkhand where he meets Raju Sahu who tells him that they did not have a road in their village. Then he reported about it on Swara and one person from Ranchi visited them and advised to pass a resolution from Gram Sabha and give it to Collector. After that road work has started. He says we had reported in September that we dont have a road in our village and the bridge on river is broken from 4 yrs. Since village has no hospital it was very difficult to take sick in rainy season. I am glad to say that in October work started on road and now the work on bridge has also started. Jeetanram, a Pahadi Korwa adivasi had called Swara 15 days back with problems from his village and glad to share that yesterday Govt officials visited his village Salkheta in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. They have sanctioned 7 wells, 1 tube well, School and Anganwadi building and road. They have assured 2 oxen to 28 families each and goats to 7. They have also assured pensions. Mastram from Niwadi in Tikamgarh district in MP says in their town there were few trees next to a curve on the road which were owned by some influential people and they were not allowing them to cut though people were complaining from more than a year. Due to these trees the vision was obstructed and more than 35 people have died in accidents at that spot. I recorded a message on Swara and now officials have cut those trees.
