He says we had reported in September that we dont have a road in our village and the bridge on river is broken from 4 yrs. Since village has no hospital it was very difficult to take sick in rainy season. I am glad to say that in October work started on road and now the work on bridge has also started. Nathulal Rathore from Anuppur in Madhya Pradesh says that Govt is paying a rate of Rs 146 to people working on road construction under NREGA in his village. The skilled laborers under Govt of MP instructions should get a minimum of Rs 212. He suggests this is a violation of Government’s own labor laws. This should be changed. Chhotu Adivasi from Rashtriya Dalit Mahasabha and Adivasi Adhikar Manch is talking to some landless dalits and adivasis who tell him that they dont have any land. They also tell him there is hardly any education in Govt schools their children go to. Teacher comes and sits in chair to while away time. Chhotu Adivasi from Rashtriya Dalit Mahasabha and Adivasi Adhikar Andolan is visiting Rewa district in Madhya Pradesh where he is meeting land less adivasis from 5-7 villages who tell him about their problems. They say they dont have any land so they face abuses all the time even when they go for toilet. Education is in bad shape.
