If it does not rain any year then it is difficult to get drinking water as happened this year. If canal comes to this area then it will solve that problem. Sunil Yadav is calling from Salaiya Davar para in village Nawadih, Post Krishnanagar, thana Tirkunda in district Balrampur Chhattisgarh to say that they dont have any hand pump in their part of village where 12 families live. There are two hand pumps in Harijan colony of Badokhar village in Hinauti panchayat of Sirmaur tehsil in Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh but both are broken from 8-9 months. Public health and engineering dept visited for repair but has not completed the work. People are bringing water from a kilometer in the middle of summer.
