NREGA payments are delayed upto 6 months in Bilaspur

An activist of Tarun Sangh in Kota block of Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh says NREGA payments are delayed upto six months in the district and when they go to officials they question why they are asking these questions. And when they take the people who have worked on NREGA along they say it is government work and delay is inevitable. 3 more die of malaria in Bilaspur in last 2 days

Manju Thakur from Bilaspur is reporting about 3 more malaria deaths in villages nearby Bilaspur in last 2 days. She says it looks malaria deaths are not restricted to some areas of the district but it is the biggest problem in the district today. She says media has stopped reporting about it and are the authorities trying to suppress the news? Request to start immunization work in Bilha block of Bilaspur

Dhananjay Anupam from Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh says no health immunization program is going on in the Bilha block of the district from last many months. Villagers have appealed to government to start the same but there is no reaction. This is causing big difficulty for the poor villagers and he would like to use this platform to request government to start the immunization work as soon as possible

Collector Bilaspur calls emergency meeting to tackle malaria

Praful Chandel from Bilaspur reports that Collector Bilaspur called an emergency meeting to discuss Malaria in the district and has givne various instructions. He has said whoever will bring Malaria patients to hospitals will be awarded and all the private hospitals have been instructed to transfer malaria patients to government hospitals where special beds and medicines are getting arranged for malaria patients

More than 100 died of malaria, deaths continues in Bilaspur

Praful Chandel from Bilaspur says that two women have died of malaria yesterday in Jan Swasthya Sahyog hospital in Ganiari in Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh yesterday. He says it is a shame that such an old disease is still taking people’s lives. If government had sprayed Alpha Sypher Methylene simultaneously at all the places we could have stopped this menace and many lives could have been saved. More than hundred people have died of malaria in Bilaspur district itself in last few months due to malaria, he says
