Govind Pandro has reached Patelpara in Shivpuri village and panchayat in Chiniya of Ramchandrapur block of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh and talking to Shravan Singh who tells him that only in their ward and many handpumps are broken in their village so they need to go far to get water. Warles Soren is calling from Binu toli village in Kolebira block of Simdega district in Jharkhand and says there are around 25 Munda adivasi families live in the village which has only one hand pump. Villagers go a kilometer to a well to get water for them and their animals. The wells in the region go dry in summer. They have been requesting officers and leaders from long but no one helps. All underground water is contaminated with fluoride in my village and people are falling sick after drinking water from river says Khirasindhu Sagariya from Kushmal village, Post Kendupati, tehsil Khariar district Nuapada, Odisha. Fulmet Pahadi Korwa, a girl from Pahadi Korwa primitive tribal community is telling us the reasons why her community is very poor. She says we live up in the hills and land can not hold much water there and productivity of farms is less. We do not know anything apart from farming she says. Education is very less and we also do not have recognition as a primitive tribe in some places like where I live in Upar Salketa village in Raigarh district of Chhattisgarh.
