Here in a basti poor adivasis are forced to drink water from dirty pond but Govt is not taking action after repeated requests. Rich in the village have personal borewells but they charge money from others which poor can not afford and are forced to drink dirty water. I went to a school the other day and both the teachers were absent. One of the teacher works in another school, I was told. The samiti which runs the mid-day meal said they need to give commission so they can not give food according to set menu. I have complained about it but no action has been taken.
