The public hearing was on for only half an hour when collector adjourned it after 3 spoke against the plant. Assembled people were against the plant. Vipin Mishra from Raigarh says last year Collector of the district inaugurated a park in forest land which had a budget of Rs 50 lakhs. 9 months after inauguration most of the trees in the park are in bad shape. The park should have had trees of 16 types but it has only 3 and the park has no arrangement for water. The park is mostly used by rowdy elements for their liquor party,. District administration have been informed about this misuse of govt money but they are yet to take any action.
