Ambulances not visiting villages inside Tiger reserve
Anil Bamne from Bilaspur in Chhattisgarh says the Govt has started an ambulance server after calling a number 108. It promises that the ambulance will reach in 30 minutes in rural areas and in 20 minutes in urban areas. But when people from Achanakmar tiger reserve call the number they are told that ambulance can not come because they do not have permission to travel more than 30 kms. Govt hospitals demanding support from pregnant women!
Anil Bamne from Achanakmar Tiger reserve area in Bilaspur Chhattisgarh says he witnessed that in the Govt hospitals in that area nurses are demanding the families of pregnant women to bring equipments needed for the delivery. Kids not getting anganwadi food for a year, No immunisation
Anil Bamne from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh says that in the villages inside Achanakmar Tiger reserve children from Baiga tribal community are not getting food in anganwadi from a year and are also being ignored from immunization programmes. People are suffering from Jaundice, No health intervention
Anil Bamne from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh says that 6-7 children and families are suffering from Jaundice in his area. There are also constant reports of Malaria in the newspapers but the Govt. is not paying any attention to health issues. There are no doctors or facilities to attend to these people. Request to give right info on land acquisition for firing range
Anil Bamne from Kesla in Hoshangabad district in Madhya Pradesh says 25 villages lost their land in late 70s here to make room for firing range of the army. People got very little compensation and suffered. Now there is a rumor floating in the area that Govt will acquire more land in the area.
