Ananthrao Sitaram Govardhan is calling from Nartha village, Maregaon tehsil, Yavatmal district in Maharashtra. He says 21 of them had worked under NREGA in laying road but engineer harassed them and paid less wages. Despite of appealing to high authorities they didn’t get due wages and there was no enquiry. Naresh Bunkar is visiting Nawalpur village, Piparkhuti panchayat, Lormi block, Mungeli district in Chhattisgarh and talking to villagers who tell him that they had worked in NREGA a year back and no wages were paid then they had reported on Swara. Ramesh Kasa is talking to Mesram Ramu of Ballanpur village, Narnur tehsil, Adilabad district in Telangana who says in Gondi that NREGA work was not getting carried out in their village and many went to city in search of work. They reported it on Swara on 28 January 2015 when CGNet Yatra team visited. Officials have responded after this and work began in April for about 80 villagers and wages are also paid.
