Savita Rath from Raigarh is telling us about Supreme Court granting bail to social activist Ramesh Agrawal. As you know Ramesh Agrawal was arrested on 28th May on a defamation case by an employee of Jindal steel during environmental hearing of a proposed power plant. Lower courts had earlier rejected bail application of Mr Agrawal. Another activist arrested in the same case Dr Harihar Patel was granted bail by local court. She thanks all for help. Savita Rath is talking to us live from a meeting in Raigarh in Chhattisgarh where people have gathered to protest arrest of social activists. She helps us listen to Dr Harihar Patel who has just come out of jail after getting arrested on a defamatory case by a Jindal employee during a public hearing.
