They were promised irrigated land but 22 years after they are still waiting for water and are forced to work in silica factory and are dying of silicosis. He speaks to Hamsya bhai. Pradeep is visiting Kukawat village in Kherwad panchayat of Alirajpur district in MP where he meets Karam Singh Ji who tell him that they worked for Govt but did not get paid for a year. When they got the wages Sarpanch took half in bribe.So most of them go to Gujarat in search of work. They have 40 houses but no anganwadi for the children they leave behind. Pradeep is calling from Dahi panchayat of Dhar district in MP. He says on 29th April some women from this place had recorded a message saying they are not getting subsidized ration under Public Distribution system from 3 months. After friends after hearing it on CGnet approached officials they investigated for 2 days and found the allegation to be correct and a case has been registered against 2 officers. Pradeep is visiting Padvani village in Chichlana Panchayat in Alirajpur block of Alirajpur district in Madhya Pradesh. There are 350 adivasi houses in this village but Mohan bhai from the village tells him in his Bhili language that they are not getting any Govt work there. Pradeep is visiting Bodgaon village in Dahi block of Dhar district in MP where he meets Teepu s/o Thosia who was awarded support under Indira Awas Yojna 2 years ago. He also got Rs 11,000 as first installment and started work on house but making round of officer for rest since. He now lives in a house with leaves as roof.
