We live on Govt land from 35 years. We don’t own it so how can we build toilet here asks dalits from New Harijan basti in Kaitha village in Mangawan tehsil of Gangeo block in Rewa district in MP? Farmers in Rewa MP have cultivated onion and the production cost is around Rs 10 per kilogram but the market rate is around Rs 3-4 now. Govt has not fixed any Minimum support price and some businessmen are trying to buy it in even Rs 2. The farmers are very sad and don’t know how to recover their input costs.
