Here Govt is bringing piped drinking water to people’s houses but the water is not being brought to adivasi houses. Here no old is getting pension. Devkali Ji is not able to work and she used to beg. Now villagers also have stopped supporting her. Here anganvadi center gives food once a month. Mukesh Kanwar from village Butiya in Tahsil Saraipali in Chhattisgarh says I had filed Right to Information which had exposed corruption in NREGA which I had reported on CGnet Swara. We had also complained to authorities. Since then the Sarpanch has been bothering us in various ways and last night they have burnt part of my house. My name is Mukesh Kanwar, I am from Saraipali block of Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. The bank officials took away passbooks of my parents on pretext of changing the number last year. When I requested my parents to get that back we found that some money has been withdrawn from the account though we never went to bank in all these days. After filing a RTI now I have found that false attendance have been made in the name of my parents in NREGA and money has been withdrawn. I request the authorities to look into the case.
