Alleged illegal grabbing of adivasi land, complaints dont work

Suresh Oraon from Chhatra district of Jharkhand is reporting about land of adivasis being taken away by fraudulent way. He alleges that officials are involved with middlemen in this illegal land grabbing. They have complained to the district administration but there is no enquiry on the subject. Low land rates :Agitating farmers to stop dam work from 2nd May

Savita Rath is reporting from a hunger strike place where farmers are protesting low rates for their land being taken for a dam on Kelo river in Raigarh. She says the market rate of land in area is around 12 lakhs and govt is giving Rs 50,000 to farmers. The farmers have complained to authorities. They have sat on relay hunger strike from last week but non authority has bothered to listen to them. Now they are planning to close the work of the dam from 2nd May. Illegal mining on forest land, No impact of complaints to officials

Raja from Satna says near his village illegal mining work in the forest area is going from last 4 months. People work in the night and stop work during the day. He says I have informed the forest ranger about it and he says he will catch them on spot. Now it is 11.30 in the night the mining work is going on and Ranger is not picking up my phone after picking it up once. I want to bring it to the notice of higher forest officials. Request to help Adivasi fight against land grab for development

Bharat Ji from Rajasthan says in our tribal areas of South Rajasthan Adivasis are in deep trouble due to many development projects like dam, mining and power plant etc. Government is taking away tribal land in the name of these projects. Adivasis are not getting help from local leadership and media. Recently MP from Dausa also tried to do a rally with tribals but he was not allowed to do so. Tribals demand better land rate but company not keen to listen
