But the facility is often not working in rural areas. They have organised a day long Public meeting with Govt health officials in Mungeli on 6th June between 10 am and 4 pm to discuss the issue. We are hearing stories of corruption in it like when family members of Rajkumari w/o Kamal Singh Bhaina village Karka in Kota block in Bilaspur requested the ambulance to take them for a delivery they were demanded Rs 200. He is talking to local health worker who is telling him that a month back when a woman needed hospitalisation the emergency ambulance service did not turn up saying they do not have petrol.
