Ramanuj Tiwari from Umaria in Madhya Pradesh says people who own 200 acres of land and have two tractors also have Below Poverty Level cards but some poor do not have. When they go to sarpanch he says officer is asking for Rs 1000 and patwari is demanding Rs 500. If these people had this much money then they will not be in this state. Shivrani Goswami from Kanker district of Chhattisgarh says there is a village called Narharpur where there are tribals and non tribals living on forest land from 1996. According to Forest Rights Act they applied for deeds of the land on 2008 but Govt has not responded yet. Now the forest department has dug their land for plantation.
