Mangal Kunjam is telling us in Gondi that Maoist attacked 11 D mines of National Mineral Development Corporation Dantewada yesterday and destroyed machines and vehicles. They ran away when security forces fired at them. Maoists left posters saying they this activity was part of their protest against Govt policy to help corporates at the cost of environment and displacing people. Theyhad called for a strike in Chhattisgarh, Odisha and Andhra Pradesh on 5th and 6th to protest such policies.

Mangalram Mandavi is calling from Khadgaon village in Baderajpur block of Kondagaon district in Chhattisgarh and says last year officials had surveyed their area and after that many villages have got electric connection but their is no connectivity in his village Khadgaon and many other villages till date. Mangal Kunjam is telling us that when many were singing and dancing at marriage ceremony of son of former Communist Party of India MLA from Dantewada, Chhattisgarh Nandaram Sori on 19th April a police team arrested 8 adivasis from Potali village including 2 women. Villagers claim arrested are farmers and have no connection with Maoists. They visited SP but could not get any answer. Local representatives have opposed proposal to increase capacity of mines but NMDC is using fraudulent means to get permission by conducting false public hearing posing labors from outside as villagers. He says they did not get subsidized food grains and kerosene oil for December 2015 though it has been entered in their ration cards by dealer.
