My name is Charan Singh Parte. I am calling from Mawai block of Mandla district of MP. In our area Baiga adivasis do not have land deeds on the land they have been working for ages. After Forest Rights act officials have given land deeds for one or one and half acre of land to them without visiting the area. Forest dept now are throwing them out by force. Charan Singh Parte from village Naigawan Raiyat in Mawai block, Bichhia tahsil in Mandla district of MP says they have electric poles in their Baiga adivasi village but no electricity. They need to go 10 kms to charge their mobile phones which costs Rs 10 each time. They need to walk 4 kms to river to fetch water. There is no Govt work going in the village.
