Less payment in NREGA and other government schemes
Bhan Sahu is reporting from various villages in Rajnandgaon where villagers are paid less than the official rates. She says in one village people got only Rs 70 for a days work under NREGA but when they protested collectively they got the full payment of Rs 100. Similarly some people have got Rs 2000 less than the amount they signed for in Indira Awas Yojna and in the same village headman has captured a land where villagers want to build a pond under NREGA

NREGA : Dharna if no payment in a week
Bhan Sahu reports from Rajnandgaon that in entire district many people have not been paid for their work in NREGA from the month of April. People are getting desperate after no action from government side after repeated requests for payment. And now they are planning a demonstration if the due payments are not made within a week

No NREGA payment in Mandla after 6 months
Mithilesh Kumar from Partala village in Mandala district of Madhya Pradesh is reporting that in his area people have not been paid for NREGA work from last 6 months. People are sick in the rainy season and are forced to borrow from moneylenders. May be instead of NREGA if they had worked for any one else they would have been in a better situation, he says

Non payment of NREGA wages in Rajnandgaon
Bhan Sahu reports from Direjhal village in Nawagaon block of Rajnandgaon district where villagers have not been paid wages of Rs 3.5 lakhs in works under National Rural Employment Guarantee Act from April. Similarly the payment has also not been done in Tatekasa block of the same district

No payment in NREGA after 3 months
Bhan Sahu from Rajnandgaon has reported that people have not been paid after 4 months of work in National Rural Employment Guarantee program. She says after summer it is the worst time for the farmers economically and they were hoping the payment from NREGA will help.But they are forced to borrow to sow seeds and send their children to school
