Arun Pradhan from Nagri village in Ranchi is telling us that today when villagers broke the boundary wall of proposed IIM more than 25 villagers got injured in police lathi charge. Ashok Singh Paigam from Singrauli district of Madhya Pradesh is telling us the story of Kohram Say Gond an adivasi who is living on a forest land from 1960s. He has paid fines to forest department all these years. According to Forest Rights Act he should be getting the land deed but not only the officials ill treat him whenever he requests for the same, the forest department has burnt his house quite a few times. Lalita Roshan Lakra is visiting Nagri village near Ranchi in Jharkhand today where adivasi villagers are struggling to save their land from last 6 months. Government wants to take away the land to construct Indian Institute of Management there. She says the rain has come and people have a cheap tarpauline and sleeping under it also during the night in wet floor. She says in summer they sat here also during the day and one woman protestor died.
