A regional meet has been organised by Gramin Vikas Sangharsh Samiti Dhanbad, and Bhumi Raksha Samiti, Nagda Dhanbad at Nagda village in District Dhanbad.
Jharkhand Area coordinator committee members from Ranchi will address the meeting. 15 villages will be participating. The issue of Pokhariya Khadan dig up which needs to be filled, levelled and made fit to cultivate shall be raised. Also the land should be distributed back to the people.

Subhash Gayali from Dhanbad district of Jharkhand says a company called ONGC is trying to build a factory in a village and is trying to buy lands from villagers by force. The company is not offering any jobs to local youth or facilities to farmers. Villagers have done a dharna and the company has now assured to respond to the demands by one week. Subhash Gayali says Sister Valsa John hatyakand Nyaya manch has organised a meeting in Ranchi on 10th January to demand judicial enquiry of gruesome murder of Sister Valsa of Rajmahal Pahad Bachao Andolan.
