Dashrath Kawde is telling us about Grain Bank run by women in Mamadoh post Dhawdi tehsil Khalwa in District Khandwa MP. He meets some of them in their meeting who say they collect some grain every month and give 10 kg of grain on loan when someone is in need. They collect 1 kg of grain extra as interest. Poor people are in need of grain in the rainy days when crop is yet to be ready. They found in the meeting that all have deposited and returned the amount of grains they needed to do.
