Modi community got stopped being treated as Tribals when Jharkhand was created as a new state in 2000. The community challenged it and a Govt formed commission opined in favor of the community’s demand in 2008 but no work has been done on the report so far says members of the community to JM Rangeela who are suffering for this inaction.
