Co-operative to make blankets stops migration of workers

Bhan Sahu is visiting a village called Kamarda in Rajnandgaon district of Chhattisgarh where a co-operative society of adivasis is giving employment to many who knit blankets for the Govt. The person she interviews says after this work they do not need to migrate to other areas in search of work. At the moment the blankets go to Panipat for finishing but Govt is putting up a center nearby after that they won’t have to send them out. For more Bhan Ji can be reached on 09406033089
