In common fever boil Kutki (Picrorhiza kurroa), Chirayita (Swertia chirayita) & Indrajav (Holarrhena pubescens) 2-5 gram each in quantity until 10-50 ml water remains. Drinking this decoction in common fever is useful. Bitter gourd vegetable is also useful in common fever. Make decoction of dry ginger, basil leaves, jaggery & black peeper.
