Govt must pay compensation for late NREGA payments as per law

Sanjay Sharma from Ambikapur wants to thank everyone for their efforts to get Pitbasu Bhoi his due NREGA wages. As it has been repoeted in the past that Pitbasu’s son Santosh died in hospital in want of blood when he was still looking for his wages of 100 days work. The payment was made on 20th January but Sanjay says according to NREGA laws if a paayment is delayed by more than a fortnight state government needs to pay compensation. There are thousands of scuh cases in Surguja where NREGA payments are delayed for many months which must change
