Tribal village has abnormal number of mentally ill and blind children, Pls help

Savita Rath from Raigarh in Chhattisgarh is telling the curious case of Kanwar adivasi village Gersa in Dharmajaigarh block where they have an abnormal proportion of mentally ill and blind children. This has started 15 years ago where adults are normal but there are 30 blind children in population of 1664.
