Niyamgiri: 2nd Gram Sabha also decides against Vedanta mining proposal

Giridhari Patra from Niyamgiri Suraksha Samiti is telling us that in 2nd Gram Sabha also the Dongaria Kondh adivasis have voted against Niyamgiri hills to be given to Vedanta for mining. As you know on 18th July Gram Sabha on order of Supreme Court villagers had opposed it and he feels in other 10 Gram sabhas it will be the same result though Vedanta is trying hard to bribe some villagers.
