Omprakash Baghel from Lakhanpur block of Surguja district in Chhattisgarh is telling us that on behalf of Beej Virasat abhiyan they are distributing traditional seeds to Pahadi Korwa adivasis so that they can become self dependent and do their traditional Bewar farming and do not remain dependent on hybrid seeds.The seeds they are distributing include madia, kang, bede, kokda and sikar which have become extinct in the area.
