Diwali: Jharkhand farmers worship cattles as form of Laxmi, Goddess of wealth

Raju Kumar from Chatra district in Jharkhand is telling us that during the festival of Diwali the villagers also worship their cattles who are a form of Laxmi, the goddess of wealth for them, who are an important part of their economy. During diwali the farmers get togehter and sing songs in praise of their cattles. He says I am very proud of this culture which shows the relationship between man and animal.
