No rain from a month, Paddy crop is drying up in Chatra district Jharkhand

My name is Raju Kumar. I am calling from Chatra district of Jharkhand and want to tell you that due to no rain in last one month the paddy crop in the fields here have started getting spoiled. The earth has developed cracks in many places due to absense of moisture.Had there been ponds and dams to collect water farmers could have used them.
