Are women independent in India today?

Bhan Sahu is reporting from Jabalpur Madhya Pradesh about a social activist Kirti. She goes to villages to talk to people about how to fight social injustice but when she returns her own home she needs to be under ghunghat. She needs to do all her work under veil.
