NREGA social audit without presence of majority of villagers!

Naresh Bunkar from Adivasi Jan Van adhikar Manch in Chhattisgarh is telling us about a village in Kawardha district where some officials have sent the report of NREGA social audit without even consulting the village elected headman. He says it is a tribal village and Sarpanch is a Baiga adivasi. Majority of villagers are also Baiga adivasi but the social audit was completed in the presence of deputy head, some officials and few villagers. Rest were not made aware of it. This kind of social audit should be stopped. For more Bunkar Ji can be reached at 08720822286
