Vishnu Sharma from Bolangir district of Odisha says couple of months back I has sent an interview with few laborers who had told that they had not got their NREGA wages from 2 years. After the interview went out on Swara I got a call from Panchayat Secretary of Odisha who had promised to solve the problem. Indeed there was an inquiry but the laborers still have not any wages. The officials instead asked the laborers to take Rs 200 and keep their mouth shut. Mr Sharma is reading out the messages from some laborers as there is no phone connectivity in those villages.
