350 laboeres are waiting for NREGA payment from 6 months

Bhan Sahu is visiting Pandutola village in Rajnandgaon district in Chhattisarh today where she meets two laborers who tell her that 350 laborers from 3 villages worked under NREGA in November 2011 but are still waiting for payment of 4 weeks of work. She also talks to an official who tells her that the cheque has been sent to bank and she does not know why the bank is not disbursing the payments.
