NREGA payments are late by years, people loosing hope

Vishnu Sharma from Katabhanji in district Bolangir in Odisha says in his area NREGA payments are late and people are loosing hope. He mentions the case of an adivasi Chitman Baria who gave his land for construction of road to Govt and also worked as labour for 45 days but he is yet to get paid his wages after a year. Baria was chosen unopposed in recent panchayat elections but they are not sure whom to go for help. Officials and court do not work for them. For more Vishnu ji can be reached at 06657220207
