Revenue officer vanishes after taking bribe from adivasis

Ramkailash Kol from Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh says a Patwari ( Revenue officer) took Rs 1000 each from 36 adivasi farmers in 2008 promising measurement of their land but so far nothing has taken place and now that officer has also retired. The adivasis went to police to file a complaint but they did not listen. They have gone to many officials and some have sent officials to inspect but the adivasis are yet to get any relief.
