Janardan Mahto is telling us about 2 day workshop to learn how to send messages on Swara in Mohda in Dhanbad, Jharkhand from tomorrow 23rd February. Janardan Mahto from Dhanbad district of Jharkhand says the monsoon has arrived and has given relief from heat and also the farmers have started work on their farm. But now the unorganised laborers have no work because NREGA work has also stopped from 15th June. Janardan Mahto from Ketulia village in Dhanbad district of Jharkhand says thanks to a coal mine in his village all the drinking water sources in the village have dried up. People need to walk 2/3 kms to fetch drinking water. River Damodam flows next to the village but access to the river has been closed by the mining company.
