ग्राम सल्खेता, पोस्ट उमरता, ब्लाक- धरमजयगढ़, जिला- रायगढ़, छतीसगढ़ से जीतनराम पहाड़ी कोरवा बता रहे है कि ग्राम पंचायत गिध्कालो के आश्रित ग्राम ऊपर सल्खेता में कुल परिवार संख्या पहाड़ी कोरवा जाति के 40, रावत 25, उरांव 10 और मिलाकर कुल 75 परिवार है जिनकी कुल आबादी जनसँख्या 427 लोग है वे कह रहे हैं कि हम लोग सन 1985 से यहाँ निवासरत है हमारा गाँव पहाड़ से चारो और घिरा हुआ है सड़क तक पहुंचने के लिए 3 किलोमीटर चलना पड़ता है कभी कभी बीमार को अस्पताल नहीं ले पाते और उनकी मृत्यु हो जाती है । हमने पहुँच मार्ग के लिए सरकार को कई बार आवेदन दिया है कृपया मदद करे | जिला कलेक्टर@07762222103,एस डी एम्@07766266252. जीतन@9009632660

My name is Jeetan Ram. I am a Pahadi Korwa adivasi. I am calling from Upar Salkheta village, panchayat Gitkalo, block Dharmajaigarh district Raigarh Chhattisgarh. Elephants destroyed 19 houses in my village. Around 100 houses were destroyed in half a dozen villages nearby. We are living in different places now. Children can’t go to school. Jeetanram Pahadi Korwa from Salkheta village in Dharmajaigarh block of Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh is helping us listen a Karma song from his village. He says women are singing and dancing here and men are helping them with drums. Jeetanram, a Pahadi Korwa adivasi had called Swara 15 days back with problems from his village and glad to share that yesterday Govt officials visited his village Salkheta in Raigarh district in Chhattisgarh. They have sanctioned 7 wells, 1 tube well, School and Anganwadi building and road. They have assured 2 oxen to 28 families each and goats to 7. They have also assured pensions.
