Ours is a registered self-help group of women but we have not got support to prepare mid-day meals in schools and run Govt subsidized food grain shops as per rule but it is run by a false self-help group which has no members in Deviganj village of Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh. It was complained to officers but no action has been taken after finding the complaint correct. Chandeshwar Kushwaha from Deviganj village in Balrampur district in Chhattisgarh had reported that a pond in his village was built by machines under NREGA and people got no money. He had alleged a corruption of Rs 12 lakhs. CEO visited the village and threatened him. He got scared but reported again after few days. Chandeshwar Kushwaha from Debiganj village in Thana Ramanujganj district Balrampur Chhattisgarh had reported that NREGA work in his village was getting done by machine at night and they were beaten up when they tried to apply for RTI. CEO visited village after report but instead of inspecting site he abused Kushwaha in English. Kushwaha alleges corruption of more than Rs 12 lakhs and requests for investigation by higher officers.
