VK Verma is calling from Dhanbad in Jharkhand and says interviews with construction laborers tell him that they are getting as less s Rs 120 after day’s work. He says in capital Ranchi these laborers get around Rs 200 for a day’s work. The laborers say that they need to spend around Rs 30 on their travel and another Rs 30 on their food during the day so they are left with less than Rs 60 after a day’s work.
